~When we decided to build a home I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. But after starting the process, there were obstacles that I had not expected.
When I had decision fatigue and was ready to accept whatever the builder/kitchen designer/stairs guy wanted me to choose, Elizabeth was an ally that kept me on the road to achieving my original goal. To this day, I am so glad she encouraged me not to settle. At the same time, she is extremely reasonable and having her in my corner helped me not get run over by people. My husband and I always felt like our best interest was her priority. When things were rushed and felt out of control she was a calm presence that made everyone involved pause for a minute and make sure we were doing it right.
Elizabeth has a great process of helping you figure out what YOU want. She never makes me feel like her way is the right way. There are many right ways and she helps you find the things that will truly make you happy in your space.
We loved having someone to review our plans and choices without judgement but pointing out potential pitfalls as well as ideas to make a positive impact. We would have made many costly mistakes building our home if we had not had her guidance.

~ I’ve worked with Elizabeth on three projects, and have another in Wisconsin we are working on now together. I couldn’t possibly be happier with the results. I wanted the rooms in my historic Evanston home to be beautiful and comfortable but didn’t know how to get there. We talked about how I use the rooms, and also how I wanted them to feel. Elizabeth asks a LOT of questions and really listens. One example – I wanted the family room to feel like the California coast, where I’m from. I just knew I didn’t want seashells or a nautical theme. The room now evokes blowing white curtains with a fresh, surf-like feel. I can’t describe it, it’s so perfect.
Elizabeth recommended and then worked with the electrician, painter, and carpenter to get exactly what I wanted but hadn’t been able to articulate. She is also calm, warm, funny, and such a pleasure to work with, which helps so much when working with so many people to get the job done.

She presented multiple options to us via email and in person, took into consideration our wants and needs, and also provided suggestions on how to make the space as functional as possible. We hired her to redesign and remodel our master bathroom.We are so incredibly pleased with the end result! She was also present during some of the construction to make sure things went smoothly.
